The Athena Project
Founded in 2023 and based in Meanjin (Brisbane), The Athena Project is a veteran and victim-survivor led initiative supporting women who have experienced sexual violence while serving in the Australian Defence Force. What began as one woman’s response to silence and heartbreak has become a growing community—offering support, education, and a platform for change.
